1. Who we are

This Privacy Notice describes how Jamerican Travel LLC ("Jamerican Travel," "we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and shares personal data when you use our website and services (the "Service"). Jamerican Travel LLC is the data controller responsible for your personal data.

  • Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 9.

Payment card details are collected and processed directly by our Merchant of Record, Paddle.com, and are not stored by Jamerican Travel LLC.

3. How we use your data

  • To create and manage your account (contract performance).
  • To provide, personalize, and improve the Service (legitimate interests / contract).
  • To process subscriptions, entitlements, and access via Paddle (contract performance).
  • To prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents (legitimate interests / legal obligation).
  • To respond to support requests (contract / legitimate interests).
  • To send service announcements and, where you have consented, marketing communications (consent).

4. Who we share data with

  • Service providers / subprocessors: hosting, database, analytics, AI inference, customer support tools.
  • Paddle.com — our Merchant of Record — for sale of the product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, invoicing, and refunds.
  • Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where reasonably necessary.
  • Authorities where required by law or to protect rights.

5. International transfers

Your data may be processed outside your country of residence. Where data is transferred from the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.

6. Retention

We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. After account closure we delete or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it to comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, or port your personal data, to object to processing, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. We respond to verified requests within the time required by applicable law (typically one month under the GDPR/UK GDPR).

8. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege permissions — to protect your personal data. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary to operate the Service (authentication, session management) and, where you consent, analytics cookies to understand usage. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.
